Report cards, test results and parent conferences are all coming up. This week’s Monday Memo has tips on understanding test results as well as pictures from the middle school field trip to the Pilgrimage of Mercy.
A special thanks to Veronica Gregory and Ava Consiglio who held a lemonade stand. They donated the money to St. Ambrose. It is wonderful to have such great students here at St. Ambrose.
During the second quarter our virtue will be silence. With our many areas of technology and the many demands that are placed on us daily, it is important for us to teach our students the value of this virtue.
First grade and eighth grade spent time reading with their buddies, third grade completed a compare and contrast literature activity in the gym, and many more families submitted virtue selfies.
This week the Primary Grades were busy experimenting, spelling, and getting some exercise while working on grammar. St. Ambrose families submitted their selfies from their virtue projects.
Thanks to everyone who came out to support St. Ambrose at the Bocce Tournament. We raised over $4000! Congratulations to this year’s winners, Guy Giudici and Phil Nikolai!
What are Virtue Circles? Circles are a most important part of VBRD. We hold class circles at least twice a month where we pray, talk about the virtues we are studying, and/or issues that the class is working on as a group.
